Craves Poutinerie - Chatham

I heard good things about Craves so I wanted to try them out. They have a good selection of different poutines. I got the Philly cheesesteak and my lunch date got the Buffalo Chicken. It's a good amount of poutine for the price. The cooking of the fries was a bit inconsistent, my fries were soft but my date's were really crunchy. The Buffalo Chicken was really tasty but the Philly lacked flavour. It needed more cheese or a bolder flavoured cheese sauce. It was good just kind of bland. The staff were friendly and ready to help with any questions. I went to use the restroom and it was pretty dirty. The cartoon characters on the wall are pretty cool but the blood splatter all over the wall from someone shooting up was kind of a turn off. I will go back again to try a different flavour of poutine when I'm in town again to see if there's a better flavour out there for me. EDIT: Due to the rude response from the owner I will not be returning to give them another try and I'm dropping my rating. I recommend you just go somewhere else theres plenty of other places for poutine that are just as good if not better.

Right from walk in, customer service game was on point. Young woman at the counter was pleasant, well humored and helpful, without being intrusive. Food.... came quick. I had every intention of eating at home...didn't make it past the parking lot. Holy fudge beans batman... why has this not been in my life daily since birth. Patty... juicy, thick, beautiful flavour....Greek pouting.. i want this tzatziki I'm a camelbak so I can drink it. Seriously, wow.guys.... if you haven't eaten here.. you haven't been eating.
